"...Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation…" 2 Corinthians 5:18

Many of us have been abandoned, betrayed or abused. Actions taken against us left scars on our souls, continual anger or deep bitterness. Those offenses destroyed our peace of mind.

We have a Savior that we abandoned. We deserted our faith to chase after lesser things. We wounded Him and heaped up injustices against Him. Still, He emptied Himself of all heavenly royalty and humbled Himself to the point of death on the Cross…even while we were still sinners.

When we approached Him to plead for forgiveness, He opened up His arms and poured out grace. He reconciled us to God. He chose forgiveness, washed away the sins of the past, and refused to remember them anymore.

He gave us the ministry of reconciliation. He healed our vertical relationship with the Father, so we can show others the way back to Him. Through Christ, our horizontal relationships with others can be healed too.

He gives us the ability to forgive, the power to rise up and walk away free. He breaks the strangleholds of anger and bitterness. He alone brings the hope and healing, the reconciliation and restoration, the freedom and a future. He ministered reconciliation and charged us to do the same.

MORE THAN CONQUERORS

More Than Conquerors–God's Unwavering Support

"...What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31

What hope resides in today’s key verse! When it seems that everything is working against us – a deadly virus, enforced isolation, supply shortages, loss of income – God is right beside us.

Not one ounce of defeat can be found in this verse or the ones before and after it. Paul agrees that yes, we will suffer in this world, but it is nothing compared to the glory that awaits. We look with eager anticipation for what God will do on our behalf (Romans 8:18-25).

Paul says that yes, we will experience weaknesses, but the Spirit will help us (Romans 8:26). His power shines through most brightly at those points (II Corinthians 12:9).

The Psalmist declared that it was good that he had been afflicted because he learned to trust in God’s Word (Psalm 119:71), to run to the secret place of the Most High, and to dwell under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1).

The sun came up and we are breathing, so God has a purpose for us. For the person who might be feeling overwhelmed or defeated, turn to the Lord for His provision and peace.

God is for us. God is in our corner. God is championing us. God has created us to be more than conquerors (Romans 8:37)!

Embrace Suffering And Victory in Christ

"For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me". Psalm 18:39

Have you ever found yourself in a heated battle, baffled and bewildered? Am I not supposed to be victorious, more than a conqueror through Jesus?

The Christian journey is not for the faint of heart! We contend with the everyday skirmishes of a fallen world, as well as the spiritual powers and principalities of this evil age. We must engage in battle before we can be crowned victors and overcomers.

Take heart! Peter encourages us to not find it strange when we go through the fiery trials (1 Peter 4:12). To one day participate in Christ’s glory, we will share in His suffering.

Paul inspired his young charge, Timothy, to endure suffering like a good soldier (2 Timothy 2:3-4). He instructed him to disentangle himself from worldly cares, submit to the rules of engagement, and persevere for the prize that awaits.

He assures Timothy that if we die with Christ, we will certainly live with Him. If we endure with Him, we will also reign with Him. Even when we are faithless, He remains faithful (2 Timothy 2:11-13).

God subdues those who rise against us. He scatters every enemy that comes for us. He increases our faith, powers up our courage, and bolsters our perseverance. He arms us with strength for the inevitable battle. We never fight alone.

PROMISES OF GOD—YOUR KEY TO SPIRITUAL BREAKTHROUGHS

There are more than 3,000 promises found within the Word of God. Your daily provision comes directly from these promises, which hold the golden key to open the gates of heaven and close the gates of hell.

When you are needing a spiritual breakthrough in your life, call on the mighty name of Jesus Christ. He will give you a promise within the Scripture that will bring you out to rich fulfillment. When God gives you a promise, hold onto it. Rest on it, knowing that in due season this prophetic word for life will be fulfilled. It will probably not be done on your schedule, but when God deems the time is right, your promise will be completed.

It isn’t difficult to have faith in a God who never fails. What is faith? It is reaching out in the darkness and knowing that you will feel the hand of God reaching back on the other side.

JULY 2024 PRAYERS AND WISHES

Hey Buddy, this is the opening day of the new month. And it promises to be a new beginning for you. Take a long breath and begin to move towards your purpose. My prayers for you this month of July that your faith is increased and strengthen that you may do great and mighty things with it.

every word of God spoken to you will not fall among thorns. They will not be choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. Rather, they will fall on a good ground, in an honest and good heart. You will hearken to God’s Word and keep the word, until you bring forth fruit with patience. ‭‭Luke‬ ‭8:14-15‬ ‭‬‬
