PASSION WEEK DAY SEVEN (Easther Day)

"Jesus, The true Bread of Life, came to prove for all. Help us to continue spread the Gospel. God's word guides and imparts wisdom. Together, let's make a difference!"

Jesus is concerned with every detail of our lives. Even as He left the tomb behind, He left us messages in the simplest of details. When Jesus rose from the dead and walked out of the tomb, He left behind the handkerchief that had been around His head. It was not lying with the other linen cloths, but it was folded neatly and placed carefully in a place by itself. This might not have significance to us today, but in the Hebrew culture, it carried great significance.

In Jewish tradition, if the linen was cast aside, it meant the person using it was finished. If the linen was folded and left in place, it meant the person was returning. Jesus left us all a sign of His promise to return. Jesus left the linen carefully folded in place so that the disciples would know that He was coming back.

In the same way, Jesus is concerned with every deep and hidden part of our hearts and lives. The thing that you think God won’t care about - He does. Your concerns are never overlooked. Our God is a God of details. He is waiting with open arms for you. On this Easter morning, Jesus wants to breathe life into your hopes and resurrect your dreams. Let's celebrate Jesus today because HE IS RISEN!

PASSION WEEK DAY SIX (Holy Saturday)

"Jesus, The true Bread of Life, came to prove for all. Help us to continue spread the Gospel. God's word guides and imparts wisdom. Together, let's make a difference! "

It seems fitting that on the Cross, Jesus hung between two sinners. This is the reason He came to earth; that we, as sinners, might be forgiven and redeemed. Jesus gave His life so that we could receive the gift of everlasting life and have the promise of eternity in heaven with Him.

Beyond the suffering and shame of the cross, think about how the two other men crucified with Jesus responded so differently. One cursed and mocked Him saying; “Are you not the Christ? Save Yourself and us!” The other saw Jesus for who He was made a declaration that changed his eternity; “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom!” (Luke 23:42). Who do you say Jesus is?

Do you go to God only when you need a quick fix? Or, do you recognize Him for who He is, the Lamb of God who took away the sins of the world? Today you have a choice. You can choose to dwell in your sin, or you can come to Jesus and receive His grace and forgiveness. Think about it for a minute… the first person to walk with Jesus into the gates of Heaven wasn’t a priest or a disciple, it was a thief that chose to turn to Jesus, and by doing so received an eternal reprieve.

In the middle of suffering the consequences of his sin, he recognized Jesus for who He is. That should encourage you today. Jesus is still in the business of forgiving and saving sinners. All you need to do is put your faith and trust in Him. The price for your redemption has already been paid in full – will you receive it?

PASSION WEEK DAY FIVE (Good Friday)

Jesus knew what His future would be. He knew that He was destined to experience an agonizing death on a Cross. Because of this, He shared the first communion with the disciples. Communion is a beautiful representation of His body and His Blood. Even in His perfect sacrifice, Jesus knew and still knows that we are going to mess up.

It’s hard to imagine that in His final hours, those closest to Jesus, the ones who saw Him walk on water, give sight to the blind and raise the dead, would deny Him, abandon Him and hide in fear. Jesus is never surprised by our shortcomings. There's comfort in His sovereignty.

Throughout Scripture, we read promises that speak to the hope of our future. Jeremiah 29:11 says that God has plans to "prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future." We can rest assured in that truth today. He who began a good work in us is also going to complete it. This is His promise to us! No matter where we fall short. If you need encouragement, open your Bible. God's Word is filled with His perfect plan and promises for your life.

Consider an olive. In order for it to produce its precious oil, it must be pressed. The purer the oil, the more it must be pressed. Do you sometimes feel "pressed?" Are you carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders? Do you have health or financial concerns that are keeping you up at night?

Sometimes the world sure can seem to be pressing in on all sides. When the walls begin to close around you, and you feel under pressure, remember that pressing can produce something pure, something precious, something amazing. When you feel pressed… just remember to pray. Pressing produces praying! Jesus experienced pressing before He went to the Cross.

He knew what was before Him, and the pressure was unbearable, so much that “His sweat became like great drops of blood” (Luke 22:44). In this great pressure, He knew that prayer is what would sustain Him. When it feels like you’re pressed on every side and don’t know what else to do, remember to turn to Jesus. Not only can He save you from your situation, but He can sustain you “through” every situation. You can find comfort in knowing that the God who is allowing the pressing is the same One who will give you the grace to go through it!

PASSION WEEK DAY FOUR (Washing Of Feet/Last Supper)

"Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.....He riseth from the supper, and laid aside his garments: and took a towel, and girded himself......and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded........" John 13:1-11

On the night before Jesus died, He was in the upper room with His disciples expressing His love for them. He washed their feet, spoke words of life and wisdom, and showed the ultimate picture of unconditional love. That evening, He shared one of the most important commandments found in John 13:34. He said, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another." What do you think of when you hear the word love? What about when you think of God's love? In 1 Corinthians 13, we're given an outline of real, God-give love.

This kind of love is deeper than any emotion or a physical act. It says; "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." Isn't it amazing? That was the exact kind of love that Jesus demonstrated on the Cross as He gave Himself as a sacrifice so that we might forever live with Him in heaven.

In obedience beloved, as you begin your day, ask God to show you how to love those around you, just as He has loved you.. In John 14:15, Jesus says "If you love Me, keep My commandments." In other words, obey His commandments.

"And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased". Hebrews 13:16

There can be a misconception about obedience to God in Christianity today. Many hear the word "obedience" and think of it negatively, but obedience is a vital part of having a successful life with God. He doesn't ask us to be holy or never mess up; He just asks us to position our hearts to obedience.

This begins with reading the Scripture and comparing our own lives and hearts to the word of God. As we spend time with God, we desire more and more to be obedient, and in turn, we see His best for our lives. Let's ask ourselves: Where am I being disobedient right now? Is there an area of my life that God is asking me to be obedient in? The more obedient we are, the more we become like Him. He honors our obedience - He has the best in mind for us!

PASSION WEEK DAY THREE

".....And He sent Peter and joh, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat......"  Luke 22:8-13

Jesus, The true Bread of Life, came to prove for all. Help us to continue spread the Gospel. God's word guides and imparts wisdom. Together, let's make a difference! "
How amazing is it that our Lord knows exactly what we need? Sometimes He doesn't provide the answer in the way that we expected, but He always provides exactly what we need when we need it. The Bible is full of examples of God providing for people in the most perfect way, at the precise moment of need.

The disciples were so accustomed to hearing and obeying His voice. In Luke 22 when Jesus gives specific instructions for the Passover meal; they do not hesitate. They quickly followed His instructions. We all too often complicate and question His voice, but there’s a wonderful innocence and simplicity that comes in obeying. He knows right where you are and is ready to meet your every need. Position yourself to hear Him. Spend time in His Word. Pray and ask Him to reveal Himself to you every day in supernatural ways. He is listening. He is always faithful.

PASSION WEEK DAY TWO

"Jesus, The true Bread of Life, came to prove for all. Help us to continue spread the Gospel. God's word guides and imparts wisdom. Together, let's make a difference! "

Have you ever felt like your failure was final? Have you ever wondered if God would ever redeem a person like you, or rescue you from a situation like the one you might find yourself in even today? We’ve all been there.

But guess what? Our failures and shortcomings are no surprise to our God. In fact, He’s prepared for them. He knew the situation and the solution before you did. Just hours before Jesus’ crucifixion, He knew that Peter would deny Him. Even in the midst of betrayal, Jesus loved and encouraged Peter, showing grace even when Peter did not deserve it.

Jesus knew that Pilot could find no fault in Him and would be unable to persuade the crowd to release Him, yet He never spoke a word in His defense because He knew what He was to do. It’s easy to feel shame and guilt, and even run from God when we feel like we have failed, but that’s actually the best moment to run To Him. We have all sinned and fallen short of His glory. In the midst of our failures, Jesus is waiting for you with open arms, ready to take you back again.

Aren’t you thankful for the hope of Jesus? If you’re discouraged, read 2 Corinthians 12:9-10. The Lord says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in your weakness." It goes on to say that I can even boast in my weakness so that the power of God is shown even stronger. Be encouraged today. Your failure is never final.

PASSION WEEK DAY ONE

The crucifixion of Jesus, though brutal beyond our comprehension, was a beautiful sacrifice that represents the life we get to live with Him every day.

His crucifixion was a gift to the world, a gift to every one of us. The pain He bore, the punishment He experienced, though He did not deserve it, was taken on our behalf. He endured the pain of the Cross in order to draw all men unto Himself.

When we sing about the Blood of Jesus, this is what we are singing about. Our God, who willingly shed His Blood on the Cross so that we could have life, and life to the full (John 10:10). What a beautiful reason to thank Him every day. Today, let’s reflect on that truth and thank Him for the beautiful sacrifice.

However, since the fall man has been searching for God and seeking to connect with Him. Ecclesiastes 3 tells us that God has placed eternity in our hearts. That means that inside every one of us is a deep desire to know God in a personal way. Throughout the Bible, we learn that the way to the Father is through a personal relationship with Jesus. It's easy to get caught in the motions of life and religion and forget what it means to have a genuine relationship.

God doesn't need our good deeds; He wants our hearts. How many times do we get caught up in making sure our behavior is right for Him? It's easy to do. We think we need to fix ourselves in order to come to Him when He really wants us to come to Him as we are. He provided Jesus as the perfect vessel for us to be able to go directly to the Father. No matter what you are facing or what you have done, be encouraged today. You can come to God just as you are, through Jesus.

Jesus' Triumphal Entry to Jerusalem

PALM SUNDAY!!!

“..Say to the daughter of Zion, 'Behold, your king is coming to you, humble, and mounted on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden...'” Matthew 21:5-11

Palm Sunday commemorates when Jesus entered Jerusalem and was greeted by people waving palm branches. This event serves as a reminder for Christians to welcome Jesus into their hearts and be ready to follow Him. The Palm Sunday service also includes a reading of the Passion, which narrates the story of Jesus' suffering and crucifixion.

This celebration celebrates Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, mentioned in each of the four Gospels. Jesus entered the city knowing He would be tried and crucified and welcomed His fate to rise from the grave and save us from sin! Palm Sunday marks the beginning of HOLY WEEK the remembrance of Jesus' last days.

BIBLE READING

....."Say to the daughter of Zion, 'Behold, your king is coming to you, humble, and mounted on a donkey, and on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.'" 6 The disciples went and did as Jesus had directed them. They brought the donkey and the colt and put on them their cloaks, and he sat on them. Most of the crowd spread their cloaks on the road, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, "Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!" And when he entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred up, saying, "Who is this?" And the crowds said, "This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee." - Matthew 21:1-11

THE RIGHT EXAMPLE

"...and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness…" 2 Peter 2:5

Preaching With Our Lives: LEADING OUR FAMILIES TO FAITH

Scripture does not celebrate Noah for his naval genius. While he was an impressive boat builder, he is remembered for something more world-shaking.

Because Noah believed in God and behaved like he believed, his entire family was saved – eight people in all. That is worth celebrating!

Today’s verse refers to Noah as a preacher of righteousness. Where and to whom did Noah preach? Genesis never mentions him standing behind a pulpit. But every day, Noah shared a message with his life, when he moved in Godly fear to obey His commands.

What message are we preaching to our children? Does our behavior cause them to believe in the God that we serve?

While Noah’s sons may not have understood his actions, they trusted him and followed him into the ark. Our children may not understand why we pray or attend church, but if we set the right example, they will implement those same practices in their own lives.

Are we living consistent lives of faith? Are we beacons that light the way to Jesus in this dark world? If we set the right example, they will follow us into the Ark of salvation. We may not be impressive boat builders, but we will be remembered for something more world-shaking.

Raise Up The Next Generation

"Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth." Psalm 127:4

"Raising Arrows: Guiding Future Disciples!"

They are exceptionally noisy and incredibly messy. They question our decisions and challenge our authority. They monopolize our days and keep us up at night. And we love them more than our lives – these children that God has given to us.

Our children are our legacy and future. We are commissioned by our Heavenly Father to raise up the next generation to follow Him, to thoroughly prepare them for a life in Christ.

As parents, we are charged with teaching them about this marvelous Savior to Whom we have devoted our lives. We must raise them up to love Him and fully embrace His Word and the power of the Holy Spirit.

They are like arrows in our hands – pointed and purposeful. We sharpen them to shoot them into the future, to carry the power of Jesus into the years beyond us. We must be intentional as we model and mold, train and teach, love and lead – always pointing them to Jesus.

If we submit to the mission and the necessary sacrifices to pass this torch, our arrows will be pointed and prepared. They will fly true and straight to hit the mark of God’s purpose every time.

Does God "Know" You??? (2)

DOES GOD "KNOW" YOU? (2)

A person can claim that he knows God and thus will be saved. But if God does not know or recognize him, then all is but a claim and a false one to be exact.

ONE OF THE MOST prevalent beliefs about salvation is the so-called "faith alone" concept. It teaches that it is enough to merely recognize God and Our Lord Jesus Christ in order to be saved. Although this belief may be appealing to many because of its convenience, the Bible declares otherwise:

"But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?" (Gal. 4:9)

It's not enough that a person recognizes it knows God in order to be saved. What is more important or as the Bible teaches. "Even Better" is that "God knows you."

A person can claim that he knows God and thus will be saved. But if God does not know or recognize him, then all is but a claim and a false one to be exact.

NOT ENOUGH FOR CHRIST

Our Lord Jesus Christ shares the same policy of mutual recognition when it comes to salvation. He made this emphatically clear in His declaration in Matthew 7:21-23:

"Not all who sound religious are really godly people. They may refer to me as 'Lord,' but still won't get to heaven. For the decisive question is whether they obey my father in heaven. At the judgment many will tell me, 'Lord, Lord, we told others about you and used your name to cast out demons and to do many other great miracles.' But I will reply, 'You have never been mine. Go away, for your deeds are evil'."

Notice that the people referred to by Christ already recognize Him as Lord. In fact, they use His name and are even able to perform great and wondrous acts in His name. However, Christ stated they "still won't get to heaven." They still do not have the right to salvation because Jesus declared to them, "You have never been mine."

"Not all who sound religious are really godly people. They may refer to me as 'Lord,' but still won't get to heaven. for the decisive question is whether they obey my father in heaven." Matthew 7:21

WHOM CHRIST RECOGNIZES

In order to be saved, one must first be recognized by God and by Christ. Jesus proved this again when He taught:

"I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine." (John 10:14)

Clearly, one needs to be known or recognized by Christ ("I know my own") to truly belong to the Lord. Where can we find those who are recognized by Christ as His own? In John 10:7 and 9 it states this:

"So Jesus spoke again: 'I am the door; anyone who comes into the fold through me will be safe." (Revised English Bible)

Those who truly belong to Christ and are recognized by Him are in the "food" or flock of Christ. Apostle Paul calls this flock the Church Of Christ:

"Take head therefore to yourselves and to all the flock over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood " (Act 20:28)

The Lord Jesus Christ referred to His flock as "My Church" ( Matthew 16:18 New King James Version), which is why the apostles called it Church Of Christ. Even the Gentiles in the first century who became followers of Christ or Christians were called after the name of Christ (Acts 15:11, 17-18 New American Standard Bible) because they were members of the Church Of Christ:

"The truth now revealed is that the Gentiles can be fellow heirs of God with Israel. They are eligible to be united in the same body -Christ's Church. They can all now receive all the blessings God promises in the Great News about Christ." (Ephesians 3:6)

THE TRUE CHRISTIAN

When it comes to salvation, the book of Revelation records those who will be saved on the last day of judgment:

"Then I heard a voice from heaven say, "Write; Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from the labours; and their labours; and their work do follow them!'" (Rev. 14:13)

The Bible assures us that it is the true Christians who will be saved on the day of judgment. But who is a true Christian? Is it the one who simply declares he is a Christian? Is it the one who merely professes that he believes and belongs to Christ? Apostle John teaches us how we can recognize the true Christian:

"Someone may say, ' I am a Christian; I am on my way to heaven; I belong to Christ.' But if he doesn't do what Christ tells him to, he is a liar." (1 John 2:4)

To be a true Christian means to follow the teachings and commandments of Christ -to "do what Christ tells him to." And one of Christ's principal commands when it comes to salvation is to enter His flock or His Church, the Church Of Christ.

"And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased". Hebrews 13:16

People may have their own opinion, beliefs and even principles when it comes to salvation. However, all of that really does not matter because salvation is not based on man's will and whim. God and the Lord Jesus Christ already laid down long ago the process by which man can be saved. If we would only keep an open mind, understand God's will, and allow the teachings of God and of Christ to guide us, we will find ourselves in the one place of salvation -the Church Of Christ.

Does God Know You???

 FAITH & ENCOURAGEMENT

Does God Really Know Who You Are?

"Jesus, The true Bread of Life, came to prove for all. Help us to continue spread the Gospel. God's word guides and imparts wisdom. Together, let's make a difference! "

Note: I may earn money or products from the companies, products, or links mentioned in this post.

I was recently watching a favorite television show of mine. One of the characters stated something so thought-provoking to me that I just had to share my thoughts on it.

In the show, the main character’s brother was dying. She was at the hospital chapel trying to figure out how to pray and she said this phrase that made me stop in my tracks:  “God doesn’t even know who I am…”

Read that again and let it sink in. To me this is a powerful belief. To believe that God has no idea who you are or even that He even cares what is going on in your life is incredibly sad. If that was the truth, what would be the point in living?

The good news is, God really does know who you are. He knows each intricate detail of your life, your likes and your dislikes. He even knew you before you were born!

Seven (7) Verses That Prove God Knows Who You Are:

1. “O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways.”  – Psalm 139 1-3 NKJV

2. “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.” – Psalm 139:13-16 NKJV

3. “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.” – Psalm 91:14 NKJV

4. “I will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy, For You have considered my trouble; You have known my soul in adversities.”  – Psalm 31:7 NKJV

5. “Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.” – Matthew 10:29-30 NKJV

6. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” – Jeremiah 1:5 NKJV

7. “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.”  – Isaiah 49:15- 16 NKJV

Friends, I hope that with just a few of these verses you can dig deeper and find the meaning in how much God knows you and loves you. You don’t have to worry about your past or the mistakes you made yesterday. He still loves you and wants you to know Him better.

WHAT ABOUT YOU?

How has God shown you that He knows who you are? That He knows you by name?

If you don’t know or have Christ as your personal Saviour yet, then this post should be the Most Important Post You’ll Ever Read.

Transformed By The Anointing

"But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things". 1 John 2:20

Holy Spirit Guides Our Understanding

Our natural minds are at war with the will of God. We often experience carnal thoughts in our new creation bodies.

Paul begged us to stop being conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of our minds instead (Romans 12:2). Don’t be squeezed into the mold of this world; let’s fix our minds on Christ Who remakes and remolds—transforms—our way of thinking to be in alignment with God’s.

We are not left to figure out this metamorphosis on our own. We have an anointing from the Holy One! We can discern the lies of the enemy because the Holy Spirit teaches us and reminds us of all the things that Jesus taught us.

This anointing guards against error. The Holy Spirit will whisper the way that we should believe, helping us take every thought captive to make it obedient to Christ. He shows us the way to walk in order to live the life that God wants us to live.

He sets our pace and leads us in the right paths. If we run ahead, just the sound of His voice will cause us to stop and turn around. He convicts us of sin and convinces us of God’s righteousness. He leads us into all truth (John 16:13). We are renewed day by day!

THOROUGHLY EQUIPPED

"Jesus, The true Bread of Life, came to prove for all. Help us to continue spread the Gospel. God's word guides and imparts wisdom. Together, let's make a difference! "

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work". 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Spiritual growth requires being rooted in the Word of God. His Word proves 100% effective in every situation.

It underpins our doctrine, reprimands our wrong choices, points us to truth, and steers us back when we wander astray. Everything that we need to complete God’s will and His work can be found in its pages.

When we are lost and confused, His Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. His words throw a beam of light on the path so we do not stumble (Psalm 119:105).

When we are surrounded on every side, the Bible tells us that God’s name is a strong tower that we can run to and find a place of protection and reprieve (Proverbs 18:10).

We need not live in fear. God’s Word assures us that He gives a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind (II Timothy 1:7). The Holy Spirit emboldens us with wisdom and strength.

If we lack wisdom, God encourages us to come to Him. He answers our questions without making us feel foolish or guilty (James 1:5).

His Scriptures make us wise and mature in every way, completely prepared to live for Him.

Be The Salt 🧂 and The Light 🕯️

BE THE SALT 🧂 AND LIGHT 🕯️: TO CHANGE DESTINIES!!!

"You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned... You are the light of the world…" Matthew 5:13-14

We are the light of the world. We are the salt of the earth. We are the difference makers that change destiny.

If salt loses its flavor, it has no value. If light is hidden under a basket, no one will see it. Are we doing what we were created to do?

We are the light of the world. This is not a simple statement made by a common man. Jesus has expertise in light. He was there when the Father looked down into the void of darkness. When God commanded, “Let there be light,” Jesus brought light to form.

And when Jesus looks at you, He does not see an ordinary, everyday individual. He recognizes inside of you the same power that changed everything in Genesis. The change agent that God used to dispel darkness in the beginning is the same power that exists inside your soul.

When you shine, darkness flees. Light breaks forth. The glory of God rises over the situation, and new life is born. Salt and light change destiny.

TEACH ME TO REACH

The Boundless Love of Jesus: Reaching, Restoring, and Redeeming!

"Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, ‘I am willing; be cleansed." Mark 1:41

The Son of God – sent by love, motivated by love, and reaching in love. We often see Jesus with His hands extended, reaching out to touch a wounded world.

He demonstrates His love with actions – reaching beyond racial, cultural, and gender barriers, beyond sin, shameful pasts, and societal condemnation, beyond time and space to heal and restore.

Standing at a well in the midday sun, Jesus reached out to the Samaritan woman. Rejected by Jews and Samaritans alike, Jesus gave her living water so that she never need thirst again.

The scribes and Pharisees caught a woman in the very act of adultery. Instead of pointing an accusing finger, Jesus challenged the man who was without sin to throw the first stone. When they retreated, He sent her home to “sin no more” with no weight of condemnation.

When the disciples shooed away the children, Jesus took them in His arms and blessed them. When the blind man came seeking sight, Jesus took Him by the hand. When the leper begged to be made clean, Jesus reached out and touched his diseased body.

At the border of the cross, Jesus still stands with hands extended. He longs to gather every person under the shadow and safety of His wings. May He teach us to reach with the same love that drove Him to the ultimate sacrifice.

Jesus Our King 👑👑👑 Is Coming

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last" (Revelation 22 : 12 - 13)

At the end of the Great Tribulation, the antichrist will wage the war to end all wars in the Valley of Armageddon. In the midst of that battle, he will make a major mistake when he challenges the God of Angel Armies.

After that, John the Revelator saw the Faithful and True seated on a white horse with eyes like fire and many crowns upon His head. His robe was dipped in blood, and He was called the Word of God. The armies of heaven – clad in white linen – followed behind Him. On His thigh was written a name: King of kings and Lord of lords!

Jesus Christ is coming back! He will split the eastern sky. From His mouth, a sharp sword will strike down the nations Who oppose Him. He will cast the antichrist and the serpent of old into the lake of fire.

FAITH OPENS THE DOOR

FAITH: The Key 🗝️🗝️🗝️ to God's Grace for Your Family

"So Jesus answered and said to them, ‘Have faith in God'. Mark 11:22

What is the one thing in your life that opens up the door of opportunity for God to pour out His grace on you and your family?

It is not your works. All of our righteousness – the good things that we do in our own power – is like filthy rags in the sight of God. We cannot earn salvation.

It is not your monetary status. Your family may be held together with golden handcuffs of privilege, but finances will eventually fail.

It is not your educational standing. Even with prestigious degrees, you will collide with a question that no earthly wisdom can answer.

It is not your influence. No matter the awards you have achieved or the accolades you have received, God is not impressed.

Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord because of his faith. When the rest of the world thumbed their noses at God, Noah had faith. When they scorned him, he continued to hammer the nails. When they whispered as he walked down the street, he prayed harder and praised louder.

KNOW YOUR ENEMY

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour". 1 Peter 5:8

One of the most crucial tactics in military science is to know the enemy. In order to defeat an enemy, one must know that enemy.

Today, many scoff at the idea of a spiritual realm of darkness where Satan rules, where his fiendish agents carry out missions to “steal, kill, and destroy” (John 10:10). But Ephesians 6:12 warns believers that we do not fight against flesh and blood. We battle against satanic beings, evil princes of darkness, and spiritual envoys from the headquarters of wickedness.

While we may not perceive them with natural eyes, we need not look far to see the damage that they have perpetrated: a global pandemic, a world thrown into confusion, seething racial tensions, economic collapse, soaring unemployment, and broken families. Satan is on the prowl!

Now is the time to be sober and vigilant and aware of the father of lies! Now is the time to suit up; pull on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, and the helmet of salvation. Now is the time to wield the flaming sword of the Word of God, to heft the shield of faith to dodge every burning missile the enemy hurls at us. In this life-and-death fight to the finish, now is the time to pray.

PERSPECTIVE OF PROGRESS

Lessons In Obedience: Embracing God's Circle Of Growth

"Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice…" 1 Samuel 15:22

God promised to give Jericho into the Israelites’ hands, but when they would have marched into battle, He had another idea. Let’s spend seven days walking around this problem before we solve it!

We want to make progress, but God walks us in circles. We want to surge forward, but God forces us to take another lap. Why do we get so frustrated when we know that there is a lesson in every lap?

Our perspective of progress is nothing like God’s perspective. We measure success when we see what we want. God measures success when we are willing to do what He wants.

We want God to bless our businesses; He wants us to recognize Him as our Source. We want God to bless our marriages; He wants us to submit to one another. We want God to stamp out our tempers; He wants us to practice self-discipline. We want God to erase our hasty words; He wants us to control our tongues.

The next time God waves you on to another lap, stay alert for the lesson to be learned and for the wisdom He will whisper. Your willingness to put one foot in front of the other is better than any sacrifice you might make. The Lord delights in your obedience as you take another lap.

CLEANSED BY CONFESSION

His Blood Cleanses Us From Every Sin!

"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness". 1 John 1:8-9

God knows that sin will steal our potential and kill the plans that He has for us. His desire is for us to stop sin before it stops us.

Thoughts of sin lead to action. We must confess them to Jesus before they can conceive sin. Bring them out and show them to the Lord because He is the only One Who can do anything with our sin.

He is faithful and will not banish us from the family of God. He is fair and understands the temptations with which we struggle because He was tempted the same. His blood cleanses us from every sin.

When our children play outside after the rain, they often come inside caked with mud. They hold up their dirty hands to say, “Look!” As loving parents, we lead them to the sink and wash them clean.

God invites us to come freely to Him. When we hold up our sins and confess, “Dad, look what I have done,” He welcomes us with mercy, grace, and love. He washes us with the water of His Word and His shed Blood. When we are clean, He wraps us up in His robe of righteousness. Though our sins are like scarlet, He washes us whiter than snow (Isaiah 1:18).

SET A PRISONER FREE

"And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors". Matthew 6:12

Corrie ten Boom was a Dutch watchmaker in World War II. Her family helped many Jews escape the Holocaust by hiding them in a secret room in their home. Eventually, they were arrested and sent to a concentration camp.

Under the atrocious conditions, her aged father died. She and her sister, Betsie, were starved and endured dehumanizing abuse. Her sister died, but in a miraculous clerical error, Corrie was released.

Years later, while speaking at a church, a man approached her after the service. It was one of the cruel, vicious guards who had tortured her! He stood before her, hand outstretched, asking for forgiveness.

Coldness clutched her heart, but she later wrote: “Forgiveness is an act of the will, and the will can function regardless of the temperature of the heart.” Out loud, she asked, “Jesus, help me.”

"And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased". Hebrews 13:16

Woodenly, she grasped his hand. She recounted that the “current of heaven” raced from her shoulder, down her arm, and into their clutched hands. Flooded with a feeling of warm reconciliation, she heard herself say, “I forgive you, brother.” With clasped hands, the former guard and the former prisoner wept together.

She later said that she had never felt the love of God as intensely as she did in that moment: “To forgive is to set a prisoner free and to discover that the prisoner is you.”

BLESSING

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May God give you the courage and the strength to forgive your enemy. May He spring you from prison to walk in the freedom of His grace and mercy.

"And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased". Hebrews 13:16

Our tendency to focus on the negative greatly affects our perspective. It narrows our vision and minimizes our expectations.

When Peter and John approached the lame man at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, Peter said, “Look at us” (Acts 3). The crippled man looked up, expecting them to toss a few coins in his cup. Was he in for the most amazing surprise of his life!

When we major in the minor, it limits our ability to see beyond the problem to a God Who holds the solution. Even though this man must have heard the miraculous stories of Jesus and His disciples as he laid daily at the Temple Gate, when Peter and John stood before him, he could only hope for some change.

Since the disabled were prohibited from entering The Temple to worship, God sent Peter and John to meet him outside. In the presence of the Lord, the lame leaped to his feet, forever changed.

Jesus stands before you to ask, “What is the one thing that I can do for you today?” Will you shake your cup and hope for a few coins? Or will you lift your eyes to see a Savior Who is well able to meet every need? Ask out loud and with expectancy! The supernatural is commonplace to Him. He longs to give good gifts to you.

BLESSING

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May you stop thinking small when it comes to the Creator of the universe. More than a few coins, may you expect the supernatural, life-changing move of God in your life. May you never settle for less! In the name of Jesus… Amen.

Silence The Ignorance Of Foolish Men

"For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men..." 1 Peter 2:15

*HE WILL SHOW US THE SPECIFIC WILL HE GAS FOR EACH OF US!"

What is God’s perfect will for my life? Many believers anxiously seek the answer to that question and worry that they might somehow miss it.

This simple truth frees us: when we fulfill the general will of God, He will show us the specific will He has for each of us. While some of our Bible heroes experienced dramatic moments of illumination, God’s will is more often a gradual revelation as we walk in obedience.

Consider Peter and John in Acts 3. They were fulfilling the general will of God as they went to join other believers for worship and prayer. As they strolled through the temple gate, though, God drew their attention to the lame man begging for alms. He sent them on a specific, special assignment that would forever change one man’s life.

God’s general will for us is to give thanks in every situation, to pray without ceasing, to hide His Word in our hearts, to fast before the Father, and to live worthy of our holy calling. This is the preparation, the training ground, for the specific will of God.

As we walk in His general will, we can expect divine detours as God reveals His specific will one step at a time. Every day becomes a grand adventure! What extraordinary exploit has He written on today’s calendar?

BLESSING

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May you be faithful in the small things every day, so that you are prepared for the next bigger thing that God has in mind. Be ready for divine detours and amazing adventures with Him at all times! Miracles will follow those who believe in the name of Jesus… Amen.

Welcome To The Month Of March 2024

PRAYERS AND DECLARATIONS FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH 2024

Thus says the Lord to his anointed, to you, whose right hand He has grasped, to subdue nations before you and to loose the belts of kings, to open doors before you that gates may not be closed: “I will go before you and level the exalted places, I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron, I will give you the treasures of darkness and the hoards in secret places, that you may know that it is I, the Lord, the God of Israel, who call you by your name.”

Isaiah 45:1-25
